ASSIST offers a two-way approach to energy poverty: active engagement of consumers in the energy market, and a positive change of behaviour in relation to energy consumption and to influence design of policies at all levels.
ENABLING POLICY - provide insight and information to decision makers to promote the insertion of energy poverty within the political agenda. PREPARING THE GROUND FOR INVESTMENT- reduce energy consumption (and consequently energy bills) of engaged consumers. BUILDING CAPACITIES AND SKILLS - train HEA (Home Energy Advisors) in each country and create advice and supporting tools.
The consortium is formed by 11 partners representing national stakeholders from 6 different European countries and one partner representing a European network. The countries involved are Italy, Spain, UK, Poland, Belgium and Finland.
