More than 100 speakers will participate in the event, to be held in Barcelona on November 8-9th
As part of its objective of offering policy advisory and fostering knowledge generation on energy poverty, ASSIST project will have a leading role in the second edition of the Catalan Congress on Energy Poverty, the biggest international meeting celebrated in Catalonia about this issue, to be held in Barcelona this 8 and 9 of November.

The Congress will approach energy poverty from different angles: health, energy, social services, housing, or gender perspective, among others.
ASSIST project will organise one round table entitled: From local to global: tackling energy poverty in Europe. Harriet Thomson, from the European Energy Poverty Observatory, will moderate the session and ASSIST project will be presented on its two dimensions. Marina Varvesi, the coordinator of the Consortium, will present the objectives of the project and its European scope, and Marta Garcia from Ecoserveis association will show how it is being implemented in Spain. The session will be complemented with presentations from Maria Jeliazkova, from EAPN, and Marine Cornelis, who will summarize the different initiatives to tackle energy poverty in Europe.
