Financing schemes for the ASSIST model - presented and discussed at the BEHAVE conference

As part of the SUITE initiative, the project partners (Ecoserveis, AISFOR, Climate Alliance and the Catalonia Energy Efficiency Cluster) are investigating possible financing schemes for scaling up the ASSIST model, a model that tackles energy poverty, in the five involved countries (Spain, Italy, Poland, Hungary and Romania) and foster its implementation at EU level, through:

  • Analysis of the local context, considering how the national energy market works and any existing actions to tackle energy poverty.

  • Analysis of similar models existing in other European countries (figure of specialized operators on energy poverty, network of operators and support actions) and their social business model.

  • Construction of scalability plans of the ASSIST model in 5 European countries.

The results of the context and market analysis and scalability plans, together with the evidence gathered on possible financing schemes (public, private and public-private), will be presented at the BEHAVE 2020-2021 conference during the initial session on Friday, April 23 (session 7d - ASSIST model and the SUITE project).

To participate in the conference registration is required which can be done through the following link.
